The Challenge

When Aimee Alleman, Department Chair of Mass Communications at Loyola University, approached us to refresh their “Den of Distinction” display, the original idea was a simple, one-dimensional wall graphic with room for future honorees. However, the existing space felt outdated, lacked visual impact, and did not truly honor the accomplishments being showcased. This presented us with the exciting challenge of reimagining the display to create something more dynamic and engaging.

The Approach

Our team proposed transforming the display by pairing a bold, full wall graphic with dimensional acrylic prints of each honoree, creating both visual impact and the flexibility to add future inductees. As the concept evolved, the project expanded to include graphics on two walls, with acrylic portraits mounted on the original wall using standouts. This thoughtful approach resulted in a dynamic, multi-dimensional installation that elevates the space and celebrates the achievements of Loyola’s distinguished members.

The Outcome

The completed installation delivered exactly what Loyola envisioned—a modern, dimensional display that commands attention and honors its distinguished members with pride. The transformation of the “Den of Distinction” not only refreshed the space but also created a lasting, flexible solution for future honorees.
