   When you send confidential personal information to us on our website, a secure server software which we have licensed encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our website.
   Other email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security, credit card, or account numbers to us through an unsecured email.
9. How Do We Protect Your Information?
   Information Security — We utilize encryption/security software to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information we collect from unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration or destruction.Evaluation of Information Protection Practices — Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with organization policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information.

   Employee Access, Training and Expectations — Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.

10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information?
    You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
11. Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties?
    We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
12. What About Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information?
    We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.
13. Permission to Use of Materials
    The right to download and store or output the materials in our website is granted for the user’s personal use only, and materials may not be reproduced in any edited form. Any other reproduction, transmission, performance, display or editing of these materials by any means mechanical or electronic without our express written permission is strictly prohibited. Users wishing to obtain permission to reprint or reproduce any materials appearing on this site may contact us directly.

Return/Refund Policy
Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If payment was made by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card. Please contact us to discuss any necessary return or refund.

Delivery Standards
Orders are shipped by UPS, FedEx, USPS, or private courier. We will alert you to the planned shipping method and timeframe. If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.

What kind of information is collected? Mele Printing collects information for estimate requests, placing orders with project information, and uploading project files. How is the information collected? This information is collected through HTTPS online forms, FTP and SFTP transfers, email, and physical media.

How does a company use the data collected? Mele Printing collects data for internal purposes and production operations. How is collected information protected? Mele Printing protects information collected using data encryption, data retention policies, secure networks and servers, and is presently conforming to the SOC certification principles.

Mele Printing is contracted with independent auditors to comply with Service Organizational Control (SOC) Trust Services Principles established by the American Institute of Certified Accounting Professionals (AICPA) including security, processing integrity, and confidentiality commitments. This compliance process audits our system for unauthorized access, complete processes, accuracy, timeliness, and information is protected as committed or agreed.

Does the company share the collected information with others, and if so, what is shared and with whom? Collected information is shared only at the request of and through a method approved by the Mele Printing client. See separate data sharing agreement (CC_2.2.1_1).

Do customers of the company have control over their personal data, and if so, what kind of control do they have? Customers do not have control over their data once submitted to the secure site.

Mele is committed to taking the steps necessary to protect customer data. We continuously monitor and review these policies and procedures to ensure data security. Any security-related issues are traced to their origination points and appropriate action is taken and/or adjustments are made. All adjustments and upgrades are fully tested prior to implementation to ensure proper operation.

Customer Responsibilities
Data security is extremely important to Mele Printing. Because various types of information technology is used to process customer data, reasonable procedures are established and maintained to provide a high level of data integrity and security. From secure data transfers to firewall protected network to confidentiality agreements signed by all Mele personnel, customer data security is taken very seriously. It is very important that our customers have full confidence in Mele when sending their confidential information. Listed below is detailed information regarding these security procedures and policies:

1. Data can be transmitted to or received by Mele using a number of methods. Our goal is to make data transfer as easy and as safe as possible for our customers.

1. The least secure method is email. Data files can be attached to email and sent directly to a specific Mele programmer or CSR. While there is very little security using email, customers are encouraged to password protect their files when sending via this method. Also, when sending password protected files using email, customers are requested to send passwords in a different email than the data.
2. Mele has 2 secure FTP data transfer methods. The main transfer method is the “Web Transmittal Form” and can be accessed through the Mele website (www.meleprinting.com) under the “STATEMENT PRINTING” toolbar button. It allows customers to fill out a few required fields and upload up to 5 files at a time in addition to informing Mele personnel about upcoming inserts. This option provides a secure data transfer (https) procedure which automatically compresses the selected data file(s) for quick and easy transmission. The “SFTP Site” method uses a User ID and Password set up and maintained by Mele. This option is also a secure data transfer (SFTP) but allows the customer to compress and/or encrypt the data, if desired, before transfer. This option is mainly used by customers who have and use automated/scheduled data transfer capabilities on their computer system.
3. Customers also have the option to write their data to “removable” media such as CDs or flash drives. It is recommended that the data be encrypted and/or password protected.

Mele can use PGP (www.pgp.com) data encryption for customers who wish to use PGP. Please contact us @ 985-893-9522 for necessary encryption key information.
